BABO members accredited to the Referral list have reached a high standard of training.  They have completed the first three BABO core courses, furthered their study and understanding, and agreed that they are willing to accept patient referrals. Accredited members adhere to the BABO code of conduct and need to complete further education annually to maintain their place on the Referral List.

FBABO members have undertaken and completed stringent Fellowship further education, study, examination and submission of case studies.  Fellowships are also given by COVD (USA) and ACBO (Australasia).

You may need to search outside your local area to find your nearest Accredited Behavioural Optometrist on the Referral list.

Responsibility for the actions of a BABO Accredited Member remains with the individual practitioner and not BABO.
